When an interior designer makes a cake 11 November 2020
Annie McCarthy is a real estate agent with Abode in Cottesloe. She uses her interior design training and experience in her job but also when making birthday cakes for her grandchildren.
Sometimes, as in today, Annie had less time than usual to devote to this so she bought a sponge cake from the shop. She then decorated it.
I felt it was too good to go unheralded so here it is. Jacob’s Hotel.
Genius.
It was so good I went searching for the previous time she sent me a pic. This too was a full-size cake but she had baked it herself before icing it into an adventure playground.
Not just impressed. Proud!
